[11:49] <JoeM> Looking for a bit of help. Have registered a payload $$JOHND1 at habhub. I can see the telemetry data is being uploaded to habhub on fldigi (green bar) and I can see the telemetry on habitat at "export payload telemetry". However, I cannot see my telemety appearing on the logail parser and my balloon does not appear on the map. Maybe a silly
[11:49] <JoeM> question but is it only flight documents that allow the balloon to appear on the map, and payload documents do not appear - or am I doing something else wrong? I'm part of a group of four 16 year olds trying to launch a balloon, see https://balloonx.edublogs.org. Apologies if I have asked a silly question!

[11:56] <Darkside> hmm
[11:57] <Darkside> if its not on the logtail thats odd
[11:57] <Darkside> JoeM: are you uploading now?
[11:58] <JoeM> I will set it off right now
[11:58] <Darkside> the problem right now is theres a lot of stations uploading sondes atm
[11:58] <Darkside> but if you set it uploading we can have a look
[11:58] <JoeM> Yep, i'm setting up as we speak
[11:59] <JoeM> Just started uploading again callsign $$JOHND1
[12:00] <Darkside> hmm
[12:00] <Darkside> so the 'callsign' is actually JOHND1, without the $$s
[12:00] <JoeM> yeah, we put it into the flight registration without the $$
[12:00] <Darkside> wait
[12:00] <Darkside> i just saw it
[12:01] <JoeM> on the map?
[12:01] <Darkside> "_fix_invalid": true,
[12:01] <Darkside> hmmm
[12:01] <Darkside> ok so thats interesting
[12:01] <Darkside> i wonder if theres something in the payload doc regarding fox validity
[12:01] <Darkside> fix*
[12:02] <Darkside> yep
[12:02] <JoeM> sorry, could you explain what fix validity is please?
[12:02] <Darkside> thats weird, theres a post-parse filter saying common.invalid_always
[12:02] <Darkside> no idea how that was set
[12:02] <JoeM> actually on the parser?

[12:03] <JoeM> is the post parse filter something that we accidently put on?
[12:03] <Darkside> i think its something to do with the wizaed
[12:03] <Darkside> dunno how it happens
[12:04] <dbrooke> it's something that's happened before but no idea why/how
[12:04] <JoeM> from the whole team here, thank you so much, this was the last piece of a really big jigsaw for us
[12:06] <Darkside> no probs
[12:27] <daveake> I've had one of those postfix things appear without me (knowingly) adding it
[12:27] <daveake> That would have been a new doc or a copied one as I don't use the wizard
[12:28] <daveake> I put it down to finger trouble
[12:29] <JoeM> So should we be OK using the new Darside version for our flight document? i.e. presumably the problem cant reoccur between payload and flight?
[12:30] <JoeM> btw Mr Akerman, we have obtained the insurance you pointed us to from the BMFA, many thanks again for that :)
