[10:54] <SA6BSS-Mike> gona conduct a test of high the atg336 can work without flightmode
[10:54] <SA6BSS-Mike> or if its gons work well above 13-14000m at least
[10:55] <SA6BSS-Mike> you expect 22km with a 54grma payload?
[10:55] <PE2BZ> This is a Hwoyee 100 gram balloon
[10:55] <SA6BSS-Mike> *54 gram
[10:55] <SA6BSS-Mike> ok, not the same then :)
[10:56] <PE2BZ> Had to use 100 gram to be sure to get over the 18 km limit.

[10:57] <SA6BSS-Mike> thats the one I was going to test altitude limits on
[10:58] <SA6BSS-Mike> iirc there was a test on a gps simulator getting it over 45km
[10:58] <SA6BSS-Mike> but nothing like the real deal!
[10:58] <PE2BZ> The RS41 GPS also works OK, but this one gets lock inside behind the thermal window pane. With 6 degrees outside temperature I prefer the window closed ;-)
[10:58] <SA6BSS-Mike> that one iwaht I m using on my wspr boards and gona test the new fw on the om3bc aprs/rtty board
[10:58] <PE2BZ> And 4 gram including the antenna

[11:07] <PE2BZ> ebay does work on my remote SDR PC which uses an Internet connection from the university ;-)
[11:08] <SA6BSS-Mike> ah
[11:08] <PE2BZ> Launch needed a restart. Behind my back the parachute had turned around and the top and bottom wires where strangely interacting. So the chute pointed the wrong way the minute before launch. So I walked back inside, tied the balloon to an HE tank and got the ropes out of each other.
[11:09] <PE2BZ> Chute is a white 90 cm 47 gram reduced with a sharp knife to 12 gram / 45 cm diameter. Curious if that works OK. I have about 40 chutes of 90 cm, 30 to 50 gram each.
[11:10] <SA6BSS-Mike> recycled rs41 shute?
