[07:20] <bekir_turkey> Ok. I'd like to learn how to send retrived data from a balloon via wspr to habhub tracker map ? Lets assume we have Qx9xxx call sign on 30m wspr and heard aotumatcily.
[07:22] <bekir_turkey> is there any api or it is automaticly displayed on habhub map ?

[07:27] <SA6BSS-Mike> what sort of encoding are you using for the telemtry call? qrp-labs?

[08:58] <bekir_turkey> I'd like to learn how to send retrived data from a balloon via wspr to habhub tracker map ? Lets assume we have Qx9xxx call sign on 30m wspr
[08:58] <Darkside> bekir_turkey: you would need to write something custom to do that
[08:59] <Darkside> there is no facility to do this automatically as far as I know, though I'm fairly sure some other long-distane HAB groups have written code to take the data received via WSPR and upload the position into either APRS or HabHub
[09:00] <Darkside> however a quick google doesn't show up any source code to do that
[09:00] <bekir_turkey> Yes I know. But what kind of script is needed ?
[09:01] <Darkside> something to regularly check whats reported via WSPRNet, then convert it to the appropriate format for upload into HabHub and/or APRS
[09:01] <bekir_turkey> Excell or other application ?
[09:01] <Darkside> something else
[09:01] <Darkside> Python, Java, C...
[09:02] <Darkside> to upload into habhub you'd need to form a suitably compatible telemetry sentence, like $$YOURCALL,sequence, lat, lon, alt, etc... and then that has to be uploaded to the Habitat database
[09:03] <Darkside> it looks like WB8ELK has written code to do this
[09:03] <Darkside> so you may want to contact him at WB8ELK@gmail.com
[09:03] <bekir_turkey> data format is okey for me. But sending it from wspr to habhub ?
[09:04] <Darkside> i would suggest contacting bill (WB8ELK) and seeing if he is willing to share his solution before writing your own
[09:04] <bekir_turkey> okey . thanks a lot. I will contact WB8ELK .

[11:21] <bekir_turkey> Any idea ?
[11:21] <Darkside> you don't. you use some other programming language
[11:21] <Darkside> talk to bill, he has this problem solved
[11:21] <Darkside> its something you want to happen automatically, whenever a packet is received, not something you run through an excel sheet manually
[11:23] <bekir_turkey> ok

[12:33] <TimMc_> err, I didn't get the Smartee version. Just SMArt without bias-t. But same E4000 tuner

[12:33] <Darkside> maybe it has better sensitivty, but it also has more spurs, and the DC offset problems
[12:33] <Darkside> probably wont matter for auto_rx use
[12:34] <Darkside> oh well, see how you go
[12:34] <TimMc_> RTLSDR v3 https://screenshotscdn.firefoxusercontent.com/images/1685ad7c-03dd-4aea-b6b0-7eaf06b229b9.png
[12:35] <TimMc_> It seems like there's less interference with the E4000. But the peaks at 400.7 and 402.26 are weird
[12:36] <Darkside> yeah dunno whats up there
[12:36] <SA6BSS-Mike> bekir_turkey: if you going to use qrp-labs I can probably arrange for your payload to be on habhub, a friens of mine runs the script for qrp-labs telemetry to habhub
[12:36] <Darkside> SA6BSS-Mike: sure would be nice if that script was available for others to use..
[12:36] <SA6BSS-Mike> mail David SM0UL
[12:37] <Darkside> clearly theres been a few re-inventions of that wheel
[12:37] <SA6BSS-Mike> sm0usl / sm3ulc
[12:37] <SA6BSS-Mike> but he can ad the call to the script as he have it up 24/7 anyway
[12:38] <SA6BSS-Mike> dar its sm0ulc or sm3ulc thats the correct call: s
[12:38] <Darkside> TimMc_: im off, good luck with it

[18:22] <Ian_> They probably had one retrofitted at some point in the future. Probably USB5 :)
[18:23] <Ian_> The bumps, possibly attributed to the use of a short USB extention cable did make me start thinking just a little.
